Jumbo Perch

I'm a paragraph. Click once to begin entering your Perch can be found year round, but we usually don't start targeting them until late July or August when the walleyes start to disappear. Perch can be found virtually anywhere in Lake Erie. We concentrate our fishing efforts around the Islands area of Lake Erie. I used to have a distinction between Island Perch and Jumbo perch. Several years ago we could travel 15+ miles East and catch much larger perch. Presently, the perch we are catching around the islands are the same size we used to catch East. We're unsure why this has happened, but I have removed both trips and now and just lumped them into one charter. Limit catches are quite common and happened over 80% of the time on our 2017 trips!content.
